Katherine is a true example of a DAISY Nurse. She has been my wound care nurse since February. With every encounter, she is kind, caring, and provides excellent care. She collaborates with my surgeon to keep me healthy and at home. Recently I was not feeling well and there was concern that I had developed cellulitis in my leg. She face-timed my doctor and saved me an ER visit. She went out of her way to ensure that the proper lab tests were completed. I was so impressed that she was able to draw my blood on the first stick - she was outstanding. She embodies both the art and science of nursing.
