Katherine was nominated by a patient for being “…an amazing friend and like a big sister.” The patient described her interaction with Katherine, “She held me during the most painful moments and showed me how amazingly empathic humans can be even for a suffering stranger. I am so lucky to have been given the level of care that she did for me. She reach far and beyond her job duty and gave me a reason to believe each day in my own healing.
