Katherine was nominated by a patient for being “…an amazing friend and like a big sister.” The patient described her interaction with Katherine, “She held me during the most painful moments and showed me how amazingly empathic humans can be even for a suffering stranger. I am so lucky to have been given the level of care that she did for me. She reach far and beyond her job duty and gave me a reason to believe each day in my own healing. I appreciate her so much and I hope she has her dreams and wishes come true. I want her to know she saved me and her care is something for the books. She is a lovely bright soul and I can’t thank her enough."
