Ms. Katherine Garcia was a wonderful help with educating the nurses on how to use the crisis line while the veteran was on the phone. Her step-by-step instructions and where to find the instruction was a great help. I had a veteran on the phone today, and I remembered her instructions and where to find them. I was able to give a warm handoff to the crisis line team. This was the first time I had to use this while the veteran was on the phone. I was scared, and my heart was racing, but I remembered her instructions for where to find my answer. She was great.
