Katie Phillips was one of the nurses caring for my father before being transferred to hospice. I found Katie's ability to hear our family's wishes and questions and then act on them with integrity, skill, and clear communication to go beyond expectations. Katie combines such compassion, calm, and confidence in the care that she and the other staff provide. Although my dad died yesterday, I also came away from the experience with a restored confidence in people's ability to care for each other, as well as high respect for your hospital, since Katie's service and professionalism must represent the high standards you're setting for your medical staff.
