As I slowly awoke from the anesthesia Nurse Magee was always by my side with responses to my rambling questions and spoonful's of big chunks of ice which soothed my throat and quenched my thirst. When I was coherent she told me that she placed a call to my husband to tell him I was okay because 5 hours had passed since the surgery began. She then asked if I would like to see him. She moved my gurney to a quiet corner and when my hubby arrived she made sure he had something to sit on. Lastly when I was moved to my room she let the orderly know that I suffer from Meniere's Disease and that he should move me slowly through the hallway. She most certainly went above and beyond caring for my physical, mental and emotional needs and deserves this nomination. Thank you.
