Kathleen exemplifies all of the qualities of a DAISY Nurse Leader. I recently read a quote from John Maxwell that said "leaders become great, not because of their power, but because of their ability to empower others". She made me feel that I was a valued part of this organization when I was having doubts. With her kindness, compassion and guidance, I was able to grow in my position and now do things I never imagined I would do. She makes me strive to do better because I would never want to let her down.
