Katie was the very first nurse I met the night my husband was brought up into ICU. As you can imagine, I was shocked, scared, and crying. Katie was and has been exactly what I needed. She is an amazing nurse. Watching her care for my husband was an art form. Her gentleness with me, her kindness, and her careful explanations as she cared for my husband were just what I needed. She never got annoyed with me or my husband. Katie also had another RN with her a few times, and listening to her teaching was exceptional. Through all my fears and tears, and the annoyance of me always being by my husband's side in her way, Katie was always positive and nice. I just cannot say enough good things about Katie. She is an amazing nurse. We were so lucky to have met her and have her touch our lives.
