Dr. Flaherty is an outstanding educator. She put much time and effort into every lecture and organizes classroom activities that are interactive and memorable, and offers her time for extra help. The content that she teaches, I understand the most, attributable to her unique style. She always exhibits patience and is willing to explain difficult concepts until each student understands them. Dr. Flaherty is kind and caring, competent and passionate. The way she has described her nursing philosophy is inspirational and I aspire to be a nurse like her. Dr. Flaherty is an excellent professor. She is by far the best professor who has taught me. There is never a dull moment in her classes. She also takes the time out to make sure that students understand the content and material that she presents. She treats every student with respect at all times. She is also a very unique individual and that makes her a special and excellent nurse educator.
