Kathy as we affectionately call her deserves the DAISY Award for many reasons. She was my husband's prep nurse for major surgery (removal of cancered bladder, prostate and 40 lymph nodes). Therefore, I had to be taught how to change and install the pouch over his stoma. She went beyond her call of duty to teach me the procedure, along with May other special times of care after going home.
