Kathleen worked late that night to see his needs were met. I looked for a halo because she certainly is an angel.
My husband and I were passing through your lovely town. We had just checked out the Goonies House and left town heading toward Cannon Beach when he had a medical emergency. We arrived at your fine facility and received exceptional care. The nurse who provided care to us was caring, compassionate, and spot-on with her care.
As a nurse of almost 25 years, I can state the care he received was top-notch and should definitely be recognized for the difference she made in our lives that day. Kathleen worked late that night to see his needs were met. I looked for a halo because she certainly is an angel. We all know in healthcare or any service industry that people often scream the loudest negative things. Today I want to express to you that I didn't know that day if my husband would survive, but I have no doubt I owe his life to you. I would be proud to work alongside your nurses.
As an administrative Nursing Supervisor, I invest hours fostering relationships with nursing staff, physicians, patients, and families so that we can touch others daily as you have touched our hearts. At my facility, we have a daily huddle with all managers, executive leaders, administrators, and the nursing supervisor. We report necessary daily information, but we begin this huddle with a connection to purpose. A way of reminding us that what we do matters. This would be a lovely connect to purpose to report how one of our staff touched one of our patients and their loved one in the way you have us. Just so you know Kathleen was our Connect to Purpose that day.
