Kathy helped to facilitate a strong education program within the Lifespan Cancer Institute atNewport Hospital in Rhode Island. She truly understands the needs of her cancer patients andthe importance of developing a system of information that remains current, consistent, and modified to meet the needs of each patient. Her insight as a patient educator and treatment nurse hasnot only strengthened her knowledge that supports her patients but has also assisted with the professional development of her colleagues.
