Kathleen Lursen, RN, BSN

It is with great pleasure that I would like to recommend Kathleen for the DAISY Award. She is not only a fantastic nurse but a supervisor as well, and a huge asset to our department.

First and foremost, she is dedicated and hardworking, bringing a positive attitude and a personal touch. When she was thrown into the role of clinical manager, she hit the ground running and created an untied clinic with a phone room and nursing staff. She has proven to be an excellent teacher and motivator. I am very grateful to have her as a supervisor and role model to look up to. I would like to recognize Kathleen for her exceptional leadership and unwavering dedication. Her genuine care for employees and commitment to patient care set a standard that inspires us all. Kathleen creates an environment where everyone feels heard, valued, and supported, making it easy to approach her with ideas, concerns, or simply for advice. Her empathy and professionalism remind us daily why we do what we do, and her leadership leaves a lasting impact on both our team and the patients we serve.
