When I first met Kathleen, she seemed as though she was going to be too strict, but I soon found out that was a good thing. I came in with really high blood sugar. I have never been diabetic and didn't like the idea of having to start insulin. She taught me how to test my sugars and do my injections.
She was very patient and understanding even when she was busy with other issues. A few days later I was told that I was going to need a biopsy to check for cancer and to be checked for TB. I also had pneumonia and hepatitis C that I started treatment for. I had a kidney transplant to the day a year ago and I was in the hospital.
That night I was just overwhelmed, Kathleen came in and sat with me and gave me comfort. She offered to pray with me before they take me in the morning, you see I have a lot of faith and she is an inspiration to all her patients. She was sent to me to take care of me. She is my angel.
To this day she's still there for me, she will direct me to the right place or contact I need. Thank you, Kathleen.
