... I delivered my first baby at Orange Regional Medical Center. All of the nurses, as well as my physician in labor and delivery were extraordinary. My experience in labor and delivery was as great as I could have ever expected, and would recommend this hospital to any expectant mother. When I was transferred to mother baby shortly after my delivery, I again met with nurses and an entire staff committed to my comfort and care. One nurse in particular, Kathleen Sweeney, was particularly attendant to my needs.

Kathleen introduced herself to my husband and me in a way that displayed genuine warmth and compassion for us and our newborn son. She was empathetic to our anxieties as first time parents and we had many questions with which she was able to quickly assist. She effectively combined knowledge with humor to make my experience both educational and relaxed. I was especially anxious about my first overnight stay in the hospital, and Kathleen assured me that everything would operate smoothly and frequently checked on my status. At the end of her shift, she transitioned my baby and me to the next nurse on shift, and once again ensured that all of my needs were met and that we were being left in capable hands.

We could not have asked for a more compassionate and professional caregiver. Kathleen Sweeney is an honest, loyal, and dedicated clinician with a commitment to patient care that can only be outdone by her unconditional love for children. Orange Regional Medical Center is a better place because of Kathleen.
