Kathleen "Kash" responded to a call light that wasn't her patient. The patient needed to get out of a chair and into her bed. Kash called for another person to assist and got the patient back in bed. The patient was grateful but started to tear up and said how scared she was. Kash noticed the patient had a bible on the table. Kash is very involved in church and spiritual literature such as motivational quotes and bible verses. She asked if the patient is religious and she said yes. Kash sat down with the patient and read a bible verse about strength when encountering unfortunate events. The patient was so appreciative and grateful that Kash was there to ease her mind through spirituality.

From my own personal experience, Kash is an excellent nurse who is often charge nurse and preceptor on CPCU. She sends motivational texts to her coworkers and lends a listening ear when her coworkers are in need. She Door Dashed Panera to my home residence. She has many roles she fulfills including mom, nurse, friend, coworker, leader, teacher, and inspirational counselor. I am proud to be associated with a wonderful person in my life. She has taught me many things more by example than books can ever teach me. Chilton should feel blessed to have Kash as a loyal and respected nurse.
