March 2019 Honoree
kathleen traynor, RN
My husband was admitted from the ER when his blood sugar was bottoming out in the '30s. His situation for touch-and-go all night as they worked to get it up and maintain. Kathy had other patients, but while we were literally afraid to go to sleep, she kept watch, checked on him again and again, reassured us, and basically helped bring him back to comfort. He eventually moved to ICU, but for the hours we spent in PCU (progressive care unit), she went above and beyond to encourage us both, and to help ease our minds during a very scary time. Thank you, Kathy!
Thank you, Kathleen, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
