Seven years ago Kathleen Ward took care of R in ICU over a period of 3 1/2 months. During his recent 21 day stay she remembered R and exemplified consistent, compassionate nursing care. Always going over and above to ensure quality for our son. And always being helpful to all co-workers while displaying empathy and compassion with family and friends of R.
On the day our son passed, Kathleen remained with our family. She ensured R's comfort and ours as well. She remained with us to help us complete our journey.
