Kathlene Endrina, RN

Kathlene really helped me last night. She saw that I was feeling really depressed about being back in the hospital, and she sat and talked with me for at least 30 minutes. I was discharged 10 days ago and am now back again with a severe infection and the need for strong antibiotics. I have been dealing with this infection for a long time. Kathlene did not brush me off, and she did not leave the room in a hurry. She stayed, sat, or listened, giving her undivided attention. She treated me like a human being. She patiently explained the treatment plan, my medications, and all the instructions the doctor had ordered. If I didn’t understand something, she patiently repeated it for me.

She explained that I needed to be admitted to treat the severe infection in my body. She explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. My anxiety went down, and I felt at peace and comfortable after talking with Kathlene. She was very professional and kind. She stayed on top of giving me my medication. I didn’t have to call her; she came right away every time like “I got this.” For the first time, my mind was at peace, and I was able to sleep well. I am so grateful for the time and attention she provided. She demonstrates that she genuinely cares for her patients and loves what she does. Thank you.
