My five-year-old son is currently a stem cell transplant patient of Katie's. Her care and compassion for my son is exceptional. When he cries, she knows exactly what to say to him to make his tears disappear. When you and your child are staying inpatient for 30+ days, a nurse like Katie is so very important. She even has a way to make parents feel happy and that their child is secure, under such uncertain circumstances. Katie is just wonderful!
