This young lady is such a sweet person with a soft voice and I cannot believe that she has only been here for a very short time. I felt like she was a daughter to me and not my nurse. Her attitude when she enters the room means a lot and that amazing soft voice asks you over and over, “what can I do for you?” And “Do you need anything?” We got to where we held all kinds of conversations telling me about her grandma and how she had moved up here from Dalton. Me telling her to always love her mom while she is here because I don’t have mine because I lost her in a house fire and how she told me how sorry she was telling me about her boyfriend and that they were engaged. We could open up to each other not seeming like nurse and patient but two close friends. On the last day she worked she said, “I hope you are here when I come back. I am going to ask for you for my patient.

I just cannot relay how much this young lady brightened each day. I hope you recognize her in some way but before I close, please understand that never, and I mean never, has a nurse meant so much to me. To Ashley and the one who oversees these nurses, I would like to say “thanks” to you all. You should be very proud.
