Kathryn Hoban, RN

I have brought nursing students to this floor for the past two semesters, and students have frequently identified her as a staff nurse who has contributed positively to their professional growth. She consistently takes time to discuss patients with the students, she asks them questions to further their understanding of the situation and develop their critical thinking, and she looks out for new or interesting situations the students might benefit from seeing. It has been such a blessing to me as an instructor to work alongside a staff nurse like her who so clearly enjoys the work she does and wants to mentor the next cohort of high-quality nurses.
