Katie is an outstanding nurse. She is diligent, caring, observant, and actually listens to the families of the loved ones in the hospital. Katie has the knowledge and skills of an excellent nurse, which drives her to go the extra mile for her patients. I watched her care for my husband. She was kind and thoughtful and took the time to explain things to me and answer every question I had throughout the day.  

When my husband was admitted to the unit, he had such an extreme case of pneumonia that everyone was unsure if he would make it through the night.  She did everything she knew to do.  I believe that, coupled with the power of prayer to our good God, my husband is alive today.  

St. Luke’s should be grateful to have this person as a nurse as she is one to be emulated.
