Kathy is an exceptional nurse. She not only works in her own department but also helps with all other areas on our floor. For instance, today General Surgery had a patient that showed up needing assistance with his wound vac. Unfortunately, my car would not start this particular morning, so I was running behind. When I got to work, I was told Kathy had taken my patient back to a room and had already begun changing out his wound vac. I was so relieved that she did that for me and for the patient. She is always the first person to jump in and help. No matter what the situation may be, she is there. Thank you, Kathy! It is a pleasure working with you!
