I was admitted to the MWH 2 South unit recently. All of the associates who were involved in my care were wonderful, but Katy stood out. I know she had a full schedule of patients, but she never let me feel like she had anyone else. She was attentive and took the time to answer my questions. She was very friendly and supported my desire to be discharged quickly. She made sure all the clinical requirements for discharge were met. Even when the TV didn’t work, she was all over it. The entire time she took care of me, she was unaware that I was an executive. We shared some laughs over things, and she made me feel very comfortable in her hands. If I have to be hospitalized again, I would definitely want an RN with Katy’s care and compassion.
