After struggling for two years to conceive, I gave birth to my daughter at Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville. I live two hours from the hospital and had a lot of anxiety about the entire birthing process. My husband and I were blown away by Kathryn’s encouragement, support, and positivity throughout the delivery process of our baby girl. We took birthing classes through the hospital but, being my first child I honestly didn’t know what to expect. Kathryn led me in breathing techniques throughout the entire five-hour delivery. I would not have been able to do it without her! She coached me by counting and providing amazing words of encouragement. She had me moving all around our delivery room and trying out various birthing positions to find the ones I felt most comfortable in. I gave birth to my daughter vaginally and in such a short amount of time and I owe this amazing experience to her.
