Our daughter, M, has had some strange cravings during her treatment for Neuroblastoma. One particular night when Katie was M's nurse she wanted caffeine-free Diet Coke and Eggo waffles, neither could we order at the hospital. After working a night shift, Katie went above and beyond the call of duty and went to the grocery store to buy M some caffeine-free Diet Coke, Eggos, and her favorite brand of milk. She then came back to the hospital so M could start her day with all of her favorite things. The definitely shows her selflessness and compassion.
Katie is extremely loving and caring toward our sweet girl. We have been in treatment for almost a year and Katie is one of M's favorite nurses. She always gives excellent care and is very conscious of any mess and is organized. Palmetto Health Children's hospital is blessed to have such a competent and caring nurse and we are blessed to have her care for our daughter.
