Kath is the CAR-T CNS and always goes the extra mile to support patients and their families as they go through very complicated and difficult cancer treatments. Sometimes it's little acts of kindness like bringing a patient their favourite snacks or some home comforts, or by giving reassurance to worried families. This week she really went above and beyond by organising a wedding in just a few days for a patient on the haematology ward. She transformed the cancer centre into a beautiful wedding venue, complete with a wedding cake, lights, and decorations, and made all the arrangements for someone from the registry office to officiate. We are so grateful to have her working as part of the CAR-T team.
