Kathryn Scherer, BSN, RN, CWCN

Kathy Scherer is an energetic nurse manager who is always willing to help out on the unit. She is always available to her staff and willing to be there to support her employees. During the winter storm, Kathy came in from home to spend days with her staff and sleep in her office to be sure they were supported. She is fair and kind and makes sure all the patients, staff, and families have a great experience in her unit. She is an amazing nurse and resource for the nursing team, and she is always willing to roll up her sleeves and help with anything she can. She is above and beyond the best managers we have ever had.
