Kat was there the night that S first arrived at Children's. My husband, exhausted and scared, met her as she took him in and got him settled. She comforted my husband and told him that S was in really good hands, they'd take the best care of him and to go home and get some sleep so he could think clearly the next day. She was part of S's primary team and while we didn't get to interact with her in person a ton because she was on overnights, she would be sure to leave us cute messages, pictures, and videos of S. To know someone like Kat was taking such good care of him at night allowed us to sleep better while we weren't at the hospital.
