I had Kathy as a nurse the day before my discharge. I was getting worried about pain control when I went home. I had had recent kidney issues so I was limited with my methods of pain control. Kathy took the time out of her busy schedule to sit down and give me alternate methods of pain control, different body mechanics to use, and different ways to sleep to keep my pain under control. She was also one of the most knowledgeable and compassionate nurses I had. All of my nurses on 2400 were phenomenal and deserve great respect and praise (I am an RN by the way); but I so much appreciated what Kathy did for me. Please give her the praise she deserves and I know has deserved every day. She goes above and beyond the standards of nursing expectancy! Thanks again Kathy - you are a truly great individual.
