I found myself facing one of the most difficult times in my life.. when I found out the "silent killer" was after me. Before I knew it, I was scheduled for double by-pass heart surgery.
Right away I felt comfort and security in my nurse Kathryn Voight. She walked in and talked me through every part of the "What will happen?", "How will it happen?", "How could I do it?". The education and experience I got from her took a lot of the fear away. Also, it totally informed me!!! We all know that "knowledge is power". I thank God for Kathryn's knowledge. Now I have a true and real representation of what happened with me.
