Kathy is an extraordinary nurse who goes above and beyond for all of her patients and all her coworkers. I had the pleasure of working with her. She was always there to jump in and help me, no matter how busy I got. As a new grad in a pandemic, I often felt nervous and unsure of myself. However, when I confided in Kathy, she always gave me the confidence and strength that I needed to get through my day. She never made me feel bad for any questions I asked, no matter how basic or silly. No matter how crazy the day got, I knew I was going to have a good shift if Kathy was there to support me and the rest of the team. She is what all nurses should emulate themselves in terms of dedication to their patients and their team. I hope that one day I can be as powerful of a nurse as she is.
