Kathy is an inspiring nurse who demonstrates and develops helping and trusting relationships. I have seen her sit with scared elderly patients and hold their hand and comfort a new mother while her newborn is receiving critical care. Kathy is supportive and available when the unit is busy. No matter how difficult a situation becomes she promotes education while empowering the nurses under her supervision. Kathy is dedicated to providing comfort, safety, and quality care to the patients and staff.
