It is my pleasure to present the 2020 DAISY Nurse Leader Award to two of KershawHealth's finest Nurse Leaders - the dynamic duo, Kathy Clemons and Mike Smith. The saying two are better than one describes this team to a tee! They make each other better and, in fact, they make the nursing leadership team better.
While Kathy and Mike have always been outstanding leaders, they shine even more during the COVID Pandemic. Their teams have thrived and been nothing short of amazing - and it starts with strong leadership.
We thank them for their leadership, dedication, and extraordinary service they provide. We welcome the opportunity to express our gratitude for the compassionate environment Kathy and Mike provide as Nurse Leaders and for promoting and enhancing the image of nursing within our organization.
