I still have bad days, but they are not as bad most of the time, thanks to Miss Kathy!
I am a disabled Veteran, and I have been in pain on a daily basis since 2004! I was homeless almost 3 years ago and have had a really hard time with life! I had prayed to die for several years because of the pain, PTSD, anxiety, and depression for the past few years. I was having a really bad day when I was going to an appointment. Kathy asked if I was ok! I really wasn't, but I said I was fine. She asked again later, and I explained my situation and she was very compassionate and talked to me for several minutes! She suggested a few things to me to help! I was in a dark place that day, and her suggestions really helped me off the cliff I was on!

Since that day, I have used ‘said suggestions’, and I am in a better place than I was. I still have bad days, but they are not as bad most of the time, thanks to Miss Kathy! I really wanted her to know that I appreciated what she had done for me that day! Kathy is a special person and went out of the way that day. I am sure I am not the only one she has done this for! I have talked to Miss Kathy since that day, and she knows how I feel, but I wanted to try to show her that she has been and will continue to be a very important person in my life even though I do not see her very often! Miss Kathy is an Angel sent to me in one of my darkest moments and showed me there is a light somewhere in my life when I was sitting in a cave of darkness! So, if you could just let her know somehow, it would be very appreciated! Take care, and thank you for your time looking at this letter! Take care. God Bless and many thanks!
