Kathy Epley, RN

Kathy was one of my nurses on the 4th floor. I was in excruciating pain after a total knee replacement because the nerve block didn't work as they had hoped. I was scared and became depressed. Kathy let me know she had been there, and she convinced me that I could get through what I was facing. Every time I would see her she encouraged me, and basically held me together. I am on the mend. However, it is not an exaggeration to say that I don't know if I would have made it without her support. I was very fragile during those toughest hours. She was truly an angel sent from heaven.
