Kathy Floyd took her time to help a patient and her family in need. The patient was in a motor vehicle crash (MVC) that totalled her car. She had her children with her and was limited in funds.

Kathy volunteered to take the patient to the pharmacy and then to a local motel so the patient could await the arrival of a rental car from her insurance company.
