One of my patients was critically ill. I called multiple physicians throughout the day and Kathy helped me manage the patient's care. Unbeknownst to me, Kathy was assigned to four patients that day, but her composure and compassion for my patient enabled me to provide support through a rapid response and a code blue. Kathy never hinted at other priorities. Her teamwork and caring nature were key to helping me support my patient and the family.
