July 2025 Honoree
Kathy Grantz, RN
I think God has Kathy here for a reason. When I came in, I was at Death’s door. I could not breathe and had hardly any oxygen. I had to have a central line in my neck. I hate needles. I am a hard stick. Kathy got the needle in my neck and began to pray in my ear for peace and pain. She stayed right by me. The next day, she came up with D to check on me. My CPAP was gone, then my mask was gone, and all I had was a nasal canula. Everyone cried to see how good I was doing. My doctor said I looked like I had been to a tanning bed. I had so much color. Thank you all, and there are truly Angels at NWTH.
Thank you, Kathy, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
