I have known Kathy for four years and am always impressed with her professionalism and concern. She is a very bright individual who strives for excellence in all that she does. My husband was diagnosed with Colorectal Cancer in the spring of 2013. Following radiation and surgery, he began a chemotherapy regime that continues to this day. Kathy was the first nurse we met in this area of treatment. She greeted us and instantly made us as comfortable as possible as she schooled us on what we were about to begin. Kathy is a very caring, compassionate person who delivers personal attention to all her patients. She never hesitates to help her co-workers when a patient needs that extra care. I've seen her in her nurse's role, as well as her leadership role here, and I know she is well respected by all.
Kathy also goes above and beyond her duties. My husband has been in the hospital a few times over the past 4 years and she has taken her own personal time to go over to the hospital and check on us several times. I recently had surgery myself and she was there for me too. She has consoled us and encouraged us throughout this journey. We have complete trust in her abilities as a nurse and as a caring, compassionate friend.
