Neurological Care often involves caring for the caregiver as well as the patient. Kathy takes this to the next level. She organizes patient and family community events to provide all of the education and resources available to the family. She coordinated and participated in 4 events last fall for Parkinsons patients. Kathy has a huge event planned for May 2017 at Riverside Ballroom for Alzheimer's patients and caregivers. The families need to tackle this debilitating disease. She leaves no stone unturned. Patients consider Kathy to be a family member. She is often asked by national associations to work with them to participate and plan events since she has so many successful, thoughtful, and helpful programs. She is a clinic RN responsible for triage. This is well beyond her role and responsibilities. She is a true DAISY Nurse!
