Kathy R Ferguson, RN, BSN

Kathy Ferguson has worked at PHC for over 30 years. They worked as a front-line nurse before becoming manager of their department. They have initiated many useful programs at Parkland during their service for this facility, sometimes working 7 days a week as the only nurse available to assist their department. They have dedicated their life and countless hours providing care for our community. They never hesitate to help whenever needed. They always keep the patient first and always "do the right thing for the patient." They are a strong advocate for patients as well as their staff. They are a voice for staff at Parkland and advocates for anything they need. They are a role model for our BJC Values, exceeding with Compassion. This nurse deserves this award for the caring and commitment she has displayed over the past 31 years.
