I was getting quite anxious prior to my surgery and Kathy came through! She had a calming demeanor mixed with humor and caring. She honestly felt like the proverbial mother and I was very grateful. The first dose of medicine she gave me didn't put me out or relax me enough. She believed me and gave me a second dose. She kept letting me know what was happening and what still needed to happen before they started the procedure. I really appreciated it as it gave me a sense of what all these strangers were doing around me.
