Kathy gives exceptional care, compassion, and dedication to her patients and is always willing to help her colleagues, no matter what is requested of her. Kathy has the ability to make everyone feel included and she takes that extra mile to help her patients in their time of need. Whenever I have needed her, she is always there no matter if it is something small like helping to move a patient, or something big like helping me with very critical patients.
I can remember when I first started in the ER about 4 years ago, she was always patient with me and helped me become the nurse that I am today. I would not have been as successful as I have been without her encouragement, leadership, and willingness to help me learn. She goes above and beyond the calling of nursing and is someone who should be recognized for her hard work and dedication.
