Kathy Townsend, RN

I'm not sure how I would've gotten through the last 3 days without Kathy's care, knowledge, and communication. Like everyone in the hospital, I was very sick, needing a fair amount of help and attention, and not sure that I was getting what I needed. I was having intractable pain, and I felt the physicians weren't listening to my concerns but Kathy followed up with the doctors to make sure my pain needs were being addressed. She always took time to explain how things work, she was patient and helpful to my worried and sometimes difficult husband. The unit was clearly shorthanded and FULL but she managed to be on top of things. She's one of the best nurses around. Thank you so very much!
