Kathyrn Powell, BSN, RN

Kathryn was working a night shift with a patient who was miscarrying and bleeding with large clots. The patient became hypotensive. Kathryn persisted and advocated heavily for her patient alongside the doctor and got the patient to surgery four hours earlier. Based on the patient's current blood loss,  in those four hours, the patient would've lost another liter of blood. Kathryn truly advocated for her patient who was being overlooked, and improved her outcome.
