Kati always helps her neighbors, never has a complaint, and makes shifts so much better. Today, I had a heavy pair - one very heavy ARDS patient and admitted a ROSC on 4 pressors. She checked my q30-minute sugars on my ARDS patient and gathered people to turn him q2 hours and cosigned all 40 (literally!) of my drips. Most especially, when we withdrew care on my ROSC patient, she had her husband send a voice memo of the Mourner’s Kaddish in Hebrew, at the request of my dying patient’s 91-year-old sister. She made this loss/death so special for the family. She’s a Rock Star!
