April 2016 Honoree
kati matzenbacher, RN
Nurse Katie had my daughter twice in a row. The first time she greeted me and answered all my questions. She showed gentleness and kindness to my daughter. I felt safe and knew my daughter was in good hands. The second morning, I got bad news about my daughter's brain that made me upset and began to cry. Katie's words were so helpful and calming. I felt better after talking to her; she gave me a hug and I went home. I slept better and felt better because of what she said. I am grateful for Katie!
Thank you, Kati, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
