Katia was the nurse on staff as W was completing the rewarming process. She listened to our concerns when we felt something was wrong. Had she not been as attentive, she might not have caught the fact that he was septic when she did.
Throughout his time in the NICU, Katia has provided exceptional care. She has a thorough knowledge of medicine and if she doesn't know something, she says, "Let's talk to the doctor about that." She has provided care while also educating us on what and why she is doing certain things. I cannot thank her enough for the amount of questions she has answered for us.
