"Spread a smile, go the extra mile"-Katie was my day nurse on admission and my night nurse prior to dismissal. The first quality that stood out was her 'smile' as it was genuine and I could always count on her entering or leaving my room with a smile. (It gave me a boost of energy)
"Care like crazy" - Katie eased my fears, she always kept me informed as to what was happening or going to occur and kept the board in my room 'current'.
"Know the way, show the way" - Katie's changing of shift was thorough and accurate always checking with me to see if I would like to add anything for the next nurse to know.
"Enjoy the journey" - Katie's mannerism (both by her words and her actions) was always knowledgeable, professional, enthusiastic and very caring. I am very blessed to have had Katie as my nurse during my hospital stay journey!
